Farm Honesty Box Notice Board
Open daily from 8 am
Our eggs are sold through our farms honesty box which is located along the road at A92 XNW1. Eggs are priced at €2.50 for a half dozen and €10 for a tray of 30. To learn all about our eggs please check out the Trinitygreen Farm page.
We currently also sell our neighbour Oisin Hands’ apple juice, available in 1 litre bottles priced at €4 each
Please note that the honesty box is protected with a security cameras.

17/02/2026 – We have some more apple juice back in stock. Hens are now at full lay, so there should be plenty of eggs from now on at the honesty box. Thank you.
03/02/2026 – There should now be a lot more eggs available at the honesty box from now on. They have really picked up in the last week or so, now at about 75% of max laying rate. Spring is coming….
22/01/2026 – The hens have really picked up with eggs laying. With the days getting noticeably longer the hens are now at about 50% of their laying rate, and you should now notice more eggs available at the honesty box, so keep a close eye on it. The hens should be at their max laying rate in another few weeks. Thanks, Ultan
02/01/2026 – As many of you’s have noticed the supply of eggs at the moment is low and we are generally sold out very quickly in the morning. This is normal for the time of year as hens generally lay fewer eggs during the winter months as this is a natural rest period for them. Some farmers use artificial light to try and keep hens laying over the winter months but I like to keep things as natural as possible for the hens and so I don’t use any artificial light. As we passed by the winter solstice the hens have already begun to lay more eggs each day. However, it will be another few weeks before they really get going again. For now, keep an eye on the honesty box, once the sign is up there should be eggs. I will try and watch the honesty and take the sign down when we are sold out of eggs.
